Jaisalmer : Jaisalmer Unidentified miscreants pelted stones at vehicles near Oda School on the Udaipur-Jaisamand State Mega Highway on Sunday night. Where about a dozen vehicles including several cars were damaged in the stone pelting. As soon as information about the accident was received, Jawar Mines police station in-charge and Kevada outpost in-charge reached the spot. Prima facie, it is suspected that the incident may have been carried out by miscreants with the intention of robbery or by anti-social elements and alcoholics. At around quarter to eight in the night, unknown miscreants indiscriminately pelted stones at vehicles traveling on the road from the hilly area. Due to this, glasses of about 5-6 cars were broken and many other vehicles were damaged. It was also revealed that about 3-4 people suffered minor injuries in the incident.
Madhya Pradesh team of Kota Central Narcotics Bureau surrounded two smugglers and caught them in a filmy style in Kota. His pickup was filled with 911 kg of ganja. Which was confiscated. The smugglers did not stop the vehicle at the blockade and tried unsuccessfully to escape. They hit the car of the narcotics team hard and dragged it to a distance. The Narcotics Bureau laid siege near the Hanging Bridge in Kota from the night of 29 November. When the smugglers’ vehicle came from Rawatbhata on Friday morning, the team took this action. This consignment was being taken to Bikaner. One accused is from Nagaur and the other is from Bikaner.
