Jaisalmer Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti held a meeting with officials

Jaisalmer : Jaisalmer Union Minister of State for Jal Shakti Dr. Rajbhushan Chaudhary held a meeting of officials in the District Collectorate. He said that NITI Aayog had selected aspirational districts and blocks to establish new dimensions of development in backward districts and blocks. In this, progress was brought in various areas by determining indicators like health and nutrition, education, agriculture and water resources, infrastructure, financial inclusion and skill development. Along with this, backward people have been included in the forward areas. While reviewing the progress of the aspirational district and block Fatehgarh, he directed the officers of the concerned department to do better work on the ground in these prescribed indices, bring good results and establish new dimensions of development.

Took progress review meeting of Aspirational District Program

Minister of State for Jal Shakti Dr. Rajbhushan Chaudhary took a progress review meeting of the Aspirational District Program on Friday. District Chief Pratap Singh Saunlaki, District Collector Pratap Singh, (IRS) and Special Secretary, Arjun Singh, ADM Munniram Bagadia, Zilla Parishad CEO Sunita Chaudhary along with concerned departmental officers were present in the meeting. Dr. Choudhary reviewed in detail the progress of 49 indicators of different 5 areas of the aspirational district and said that according to the data, good achievement has been achieved in every indicator, which is satisfactory.

Give impetus to the work of Jal Jeevan Mission

The Minister of State for Jal Shakti directed the officials of the Water Supply Department to speed up the work of Jal Jeevan Mission and ensure that every house has tap connections and they get drinking water. He asked the Superintending Engineer Power House to prepare proposals for electricity connections through solar energy in the marginal and remote villages where electricity supply costs a lot, so that we can provide electricity to the people in those remote villages at low cost.
