Migratory bird steppe eagle and national bird peacock died on Tuesday in Degrai Oran area of ​​Fatehgarh. The information about which was given by the cattle herders present in Oran to the environment lover Sumer Singh Sawta. He told that the process of death of birds due to these power lines passing through Oran is not stopping. In such a situation, the attraction of migratory birds will go away from this area. The administration is also ignoring the demand of environment lovers to put high tension lines underground. In such a situation, there is a lot of anger among environmental lovers. All environment lovers have warned of violent agitation in the coming days if the high tension lines are not taken underground.

The steppe eagle is a migratory bird.

Environment lover Sumer Singh Bhati told that the steppe eagle is a large-sized eagle which migrates from the grasslands of Central Asia to the grasslands of Jaisalmer in winter. It is the national bird of the Central Asian country Kazakhstan and is also mentioned on the national flag there. This bird is capable of hunting even large birds like Kurja, ducks and rabbits. This is the only predatory bird in the group of big hunters like eagles, eagles etc. which breeds only on grasslands. Its largest number is found in Kazakhstan in Central Asia. This bird is also featured on the national flag of Kazakhstan. Oran and grasslands of Jaisalmer have been their main migration places, but now they are not safe here either. There is a lot of anger among environmental lovers due to the continuous death of birds after colliding with high tension lines.

Steppe Eagle sees prey from a distance of up to 2 km

The wingspan of these impressive birds often exceeds two meters. Unlike many other living creatures, steppe eagle males are always smaller than females. An adult steppe eagle can weigh about 5 kg. These aerial predators eat very diversely. They eat both small animals and insects, and they will sometimes eat carrion as well. Almost all steppe eagles have a patch of red feathers on the back of their head. If weather conditions are favorable, these birds see their prey at a distance of up to 2 km. Steppe eagles gain altitude very naturally, expending minimal energy on this. They just hover. Fly to great heights in air currents. Nature has given their body so much strength for flight that the steppe eagle is capable of diving on any prey. Attacks its prey at a speed of about 280-320 km/hour.
