Jaisalmer News Desk: The position of one post and two officers in the Office of the Chief Medical and Health Officer, Jaisalmer has now been abolished. On the basis of the stay of the court, the state government transferred Dr. BL Bunkar, who was working on the post of CMHO, to Barmer and Dr. Rajendra Kumar Paliwal has now become the sole CMHO. He took charge of CMHO on Thursday. On this occasion, departmental officers and personnel congratulated him. It is noteworthy that after the formation of the new government in the state, about 6 months ago, Dr. Paliwal was posted on the post of CMHO in place of Dr. Bunkar. According to the information, Dr. Bunkar then brought a stay order from the court against this order of the government and later he remained the CMHO. However, Dr. Paliwal remained in the CMHO’s room in the office located at Dedansar Marg. Dr. Weaver then sat in another room and continued working. Last Wednesday evening, the government issued an order and transferred Dr. Bunkar from here to Barmer and in such a situation, the command of the medical and health department in the district has come into the hands of Dr. Paliwal.
