Jaisalmer News Desk: The body of a youth was found in a tree last night near Salkha village of Jaisalmer. Sensation spread after the dead body of youth Kamal (24) resident of Badabagh was found. The family members of the youth brought the dead body to Jawahir Hospital. Where the doctors declared young Kamal dead. Kamal’s body has been kept in the mortuary. After receiving information about the incident, a huge crowd has gathered outside the mortuary. The family members of the deceased refused to pick up the body, suspecting murder of the young man. The Sam police station is investigating the matter. Sam police station in-charge Omprakash said that the cause of death will be revealed only after the postmortem of the body. At present, no case has been registered by the family members.

Khetaram, brother of the deceased, told that we three brothers had gone from our village to Salkha village for harvesting. Five persons had come on a motorcycle, one and a half kilometers away from Salkha. They stopped us and started beating us. We two brothers ran away in different directions and Kamal ran away in a different direction. After a long time, when we searched for Kamal, his body was found hanging with his own shirt from a tree about 50 feet away from the road. Family members allege that Kamal was beaten to death. The family is protesting by keeping the dead body in the mortuary. At present, Sam police station is investigating the case, and the cause of death will be revealed only after the postmortem report and police investigation.
