Jalore: Brother and sister going to wedding ceremony crushed by car, die

Jalore News Desk: Brother and sister died in a road accident in Jalore on Wednesday night. The brother was taking his sister and niece to a wedding ceremony on a scooter. It was my cousin’s wedding. The brothers and sisters were going to attend Bindauri. During this time, the car hit the scooter on the way. Both died. The family members kept their pain hidden for several hours to ensure that the wedding took place without any hindrance at home on Thursday. ASI Danaram of Kotwali police station said – The accident happened around 9 pm on Wednesday night in Leta village of Kotwali police station area of ​​Jalore district. Tulsa Ram (28), son of Jagdish, resident of Shankar Vatika on Ratanpura Road, Jalore, was going to the wedding ceremony of his cousin with his sister Pooja (25), wife Jitendra and niece Saroj on bike on Wednesday night.

All three were going to maternal home Bhainswada village by bike. Had to attend my cousin’s Bindauri there. After leaving Jalore at 9 pm, a car coming from Ahor hit the bike at Kaniwada mode ahead of Leta village. Tulsa Ram and Pooja were seriously injured in the accident, while Pooja’s daughter Saroj got minor injuries. Got hurt. Injured Tulsa Ram and Pooja were brought to Jalore Hospital by ambulance. Where the doctor declared Tulsa Ram dead and referred Pooja to Ahmedabad. Pooja also died on the way. Saroj was discharged after first aid. Pooja’s in-laws house is in the street of Jaganath Mahadev Temple in Rajendra Nagar, Jalore. On Thursday, the police conducted postmortem and handed over the bodies to the relatives. A case has been registered against the unknown car driver and investigation is being done.

The family got information about the accident. In such a situation, to avoid any hindrance in the marriage, the family did not tell anyone about their death for several hours. The wedding ceremony in the family was conducted with simplicity on Thursday. After this the family reached the mortuary and made preparations for the last rites. Tulsa Ram used to work at a fancy store in Surat, Gujarat. He had come to Jalore from Surat on Tuesday night itself to attend the wedding. Tulsa Ram was the only son. She had two sisters. Pooja was married to Jitendra Kumar, son of Chellaram Mali, resident of Rajendra Nagar, Jalore, 7 years ago. She left on a scooter with her brother to go to her cousin’s wedding. He was also accompanied by his 4 year old daughter Saroj. Whereas she had left her 6-year-old son at home. A family member told that she kept the news of their death hidden from her maternal uncle’s family for 16-17 hours. The family was informed only after the postmortem on Thursday afternoon and the bodies were taken home.
