Jalore Collector gave instructions to install tap connection in every house and took information about Narmada Project.

Jalore : 29th meeting of District Water and Sanitation Mission under Jal Jeevan Mission in Jalore, District Collector Pradeep K. It was held on Wednesday under the chairmanship of Gawande. On this occasion, the Collector took information from the officials and also gave instructions to complete the scheme soon and connect every house with tap water. In the meeting, the Collector reviewed the projects of OTMP and Narmada Drinking Water Project. He directed Narmada Project Executive Engineer and Technical Assistant Circle Officer Dilip Goplani and Project Block Jalore Executive Engineer Dipesh Parihar to collect information about the VTC, high reservoir and pump house of all the projects. Besides, in the upcoming meeting, the monthly action plan and achievements of month wise targets should be presented in the report, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Ramashankar Bharti should be asked to conduct physical verification according to the list of fluoride affected villages, about the defective ROs in the villages. Get information also. He instructed the officials to review the possible expenses and get all the resources in order. He talked about completing the work on priority and providing tap connections in the high reservoirs which can be completed soon in the Narmada Project.

In the meeting, DWSM Member Secretary Superintending Engineer PHED Shyam Bihari Bairwa gave information about the compliance report of the previous meeting. Progress report of Jal Jeevan Mission presented in PPT. He said that it is proposed to provide tap connections to a total of 1,66,270 houses under DR, ER, FR and OTMP schemes of Narmada Project in the district. In this, 70,791 tap connections have been added as compared to the target of 1,54,357 of the mega project and 11,322 as compared to the target of 11,913 of OTMP schemes till this month.

Sharma, Praveen Singh from Forest Department, Arun Kumar Ametta from IWMP, Jitendra Singh Shekhawat from Agriculture Department, Rohit Jarwar from Water Resources Department, Durgansingh Udawat from ICDS, Ground Water Ganpatlal from the department, Discom Executive Engineer Discom N.L. Suthar, Assistant Engineer of Zilla Parishad Kulwant Kalma, Navish Mathur of Education Department, District Advisor DSU Deepak Kumar, Kailash Sharma from ISA and Assistant Engineer of PHED were present.
