Jalore : Chief Whip of Rajasthan Legislative Assembly Jogeshwar Garg, in view of the urgent need for the Deputy Chief Minister of the state Diya Kumari to know the real glorious history of Jalore, get the Jalore artillery, Jalore fort and surrounding areas surveyed by the Archaeological Survey of India. The letter has been written to reveal new historical facts through research and study on the remains found. Chief Whip Jogeshwar Garg told through the letter that in the list of brave sons of Rajasthan, the names of Veer Veeramdev and Kanhaddev hold an important place in the cultural and political heritage of Rajasthan.
But due to lack of adequate research and archaeological discoveries, even historians are unaware of many aspects of the glorious history of Jalore. In such a situation, the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) should be directed from the competent level to conduct a survey in Jalore Artillery, Jalore Fort and its surrounding areas to find out the palaces/residence places of brave men like Kanhaddev, Veer Veeramdev etc. and their creations. And what were the forms of art, politics and culture of that time? Thereafter, through research and study on the basis of the remains found, new facts of the glorious history of this brave land should be brought to the fore so that the present and future generations can be encouraged and proud by knowing these untouched aspects of history.
