Jalore News Desk: A case of embezzlement of money on the pretext of marriage has come to light in Sayla police station area of Jalore district. As the case was not registered at Sayla police station on the victim’s report, he has appealed to the SP. Kartar Singh, a young man from Sangana, was married to a girl from Deesa in a hotel there on October 26. After that, on November 21, the police suddenly came to the house and took away his wife without giving any reason. After this the youth reported fraud in Sayla police station. It is alleged that instead of registering the case, Constable Pabbaram threatened the youth. After this an appeal was made to the SP.
30 thousand transferred to account
The victim youth, Kartar Singh son of Tag Singh, resident of Sangana, Sayla, reported that Gautam Singh son of Mohabbat Singh of my village came to my house on October 2 and proposed to get me married. For this, he met Mod Singh, a resident of Asana and asked him to give Rs 3.50 lakh and go to Deesa for marriage. On this, on 8th October, my father, Gautam Singh, Modsingh and Parbat Singh etc. went to Deesa. There I talked to a girl named Lakshmi Kanwar on video call. After this, on 10th October, Bharat Singh, Chhail Singh, Parbat Singh, Gautam Singh, Mod Singh came to our house and fixed my marriage with Lakshmi Kanwar. On October 22, my father transferred 30 thousand rupees in cash and 20 thousand rupees to Bharat Singh’s account in lieu of marriage.

On October 26, Kartar along with his father Tag Singh and other relatives reached Saroja Hotel in Deesa. Where the marriage got done after giving Rs 3 lakh to Gautam Singh. After which I returned home with the bride. Youth Kartar Singh told that we came to know that Lakshmi Kanwar is a fraud and she is planning to abscond. After which on 18th November, when Bharat Singh came with some people to pick up Lakshmi Kanwar, she refused. Later the Sayla police station took him away. Of which there is no trace yet.
