Jalore : this colony, which was established as the government residence of the Narmada Project staff before the implementation of the Narmada Project about 3 decades ago, is in a bad condition. This government complex was never used to house the staff of the Narmada Project. Rather, currently government offices are operating in this complex. The biggest problem is the acacia bushes growing in this complex surrounded by water on one side. The cutting of acacia bushes has not been done till date. The government houses built in the campus are surrounded by acacia bushes and are completely dilapidated. The essence of these buildings was not even taken care of. Due to which this building is in a damaged condition without being used. Here, the condition of the roads of this entire complex is also pathetic. Due to which people traveling for government work and even government officials have to face problems.
This office operates
Apart from ACB office, Ground Water Department office, Horticulture Department, Excise Police Station and Joint Director’s Office of Agriculture Department, some other offices and institutions are running in these residences of Narmada Colony. Earlier, transport office and employment office also operated here.
There is too much water in the rains
During rains this entire area gets filled with rain water. Water flows from Panchayat Samiti Road and reaches this complex. Due to continuous filling of water, this government building is in a state of premature damage.
