Jalore : A total of 1 lakh 58 thousand 628 pensioners in Jalore are receiving pension benefits under the Social Security Pension Scheme. About 85 thousand 420 (93.94 percent) pensioners have got their physical verification done. Whereas it is mandatory for other pensioners to undergo physical verification by 31st December. In the absence of physical verification, pension amount will not be paid.
District Collector Dr. Pradeep K. Gawande said – It is mandatory for the elderly, widows and specially abled persons receiving pension under the Social Security Pension Scheme to get the physical verification done by 31st December to keep their pension smooth. Pension amount will not be paid in the absence of physical verification. He said – Pensioners deprived of physical verification can get the verification done through finger print on e-Mitra. Pensioners can get themselves verified through facial recognition by downloading RajSSP app and Face ID app on Android mobile from Google Play Store and sitting at home. In case the pensioners do not have their fingerprints, the pensioners can personally appear before the Regional Physical Verification Officer (Subdivision Officer/Development Officer) and get their physical verification done by obtaining the mobile OTP linked to the Aadhaar number.
