Jalore : the six km road built four years ago between Bakra Road-Madgaon-Modra Road has been uprooted within the guarantee period itself. But even after that the department has not paid attention. There are potholes at many places on the road. Due to which the drivers face a lot of problems. Traveling on this route at night is no less than a challenge. Former Panchayat Samiti member Chainsingh Rathore, resident of Dhansa, says that even after informing the department, the problem is not being resolved. The condition of Bakra village Revda, Bairath road passing through various villages of Jalore assembly constituency remains extremely pathetic. Let us tell you that on the demand of the villagers, the road was constructed at a cost of Rs 80. This work was completed in the year 2022. Within just 2 years the road fell apart.
Guaranteed repairs for five years
At the time of road approval, a condition has been laid down for the contractor to carry out the repairs even during the guarantee period. Under which the road has become dilapidated due to lack of maintenance by the contractor for five years, but till now neither the contractor nor the officers have paid attention. This is the reason why the road is becoming dilapidated day by day. The road between Modra Petrol Pump and Raniwada Kaba is in a bad condition. Even after complaining to the departmental officials, the solution is not being found. The condition of the road in Bakra village Revda, Bairath, Viranas Khed, passing through various villages of Jalore assembly constituency remains extremely pathetic. The guarantee period is 5 years, but within 2 years the road was ruined.
