Jalore team in-charge Rajendra Singh said – Jalore team had performed better in the state level hockey competition held at Dholasar Phalodi from 25th October. Had defeated three teams of his group and ended the match in a draw with a strong team like Hanumangarh Garh in which Krishna Kanwar displayed his excellent game and due to his excellent playing skills he has been selected at the national level. Krishna Kanwar has ended the years-long drought in the girls category in hockey. This brave girl from a small village has proved her mettle and has served as an inspiration for the girls of Jalore. The girl is currently studying in class eight in Maharishi Dayanand Saraswati Public School, Mandoli. Uncle Abhay Singh had started hockey in this school. Now the niece has made her uncle’s efforts successful by getting selected at the national level. Along with his father, uncle Vikram Singh taught him the nuances of hockey which further improved his game.
