Jewelery and cash stolen from Jaipur’s marriage garden, FIR registered

Jaipur : A case of theft of a bag full of jewelery and cash has come to light from the Marriage Garden of Jaipur. Two miscreants who had attended the program as guests carried out the crime. They stole the bag of jewelery and cash out of sight. The act of thieves was captured in the CCTV footage installed in the marriage garden. Harmada police station is searching for the thieves on the basis of the footage. SHO (Harmada) Udaybhan said – Shravan Kumar Chaudhary, resident of Kalwad Road, Jhotwara, has lodged an FIR. There was a program of his son’s engagement ceremony on Tuesday at Miracle Marriage Garden located on Jaipur-Sikar Highway. During the engagement, a program was going on on the stage at around 10:45 pm.

While going on stage, his daughter left the bag in her hand with a female relative. Meanwhile, the miscreants stole the bag kept near the chair out of sight. After some time, when he returned and took care of the bag, it was discovered that it had been stolen. On receiving information about theft of jewelery and cash bag, Harmada police station reached the spot. The victim told the police that the stolen bag contained jewelery worth Rs 13 lakh and Rs 8,000.

The act was caught in CCTV footage

After examining the CCTV footage installed in the marriage garden, the act of thieves was captured. Both the miscreants became active while handling the bag of a woman relative sitting on a chair in front of the stage. The miscreants sat on both sides of the woman and started watching the stage programme. Avoiding the woman’s sight, a miscreant passed a bag full of jewelery and cash kept near the chair. As soon as they got hold of the bag, both the miscreants got up from there and ran away.
