According to the information, APK file is being sent in the method of cyber fraud being adopted by cyber criminals. They download the APK file from any unknown website or advertisement appearing on social media platform. Along with this, hackers also send APK files through WhatsApp in the name of PM Kisan Yojana, PM Awas Yojana or any wedding invitation card. As soon as we download it, hackers hack our WhatsApp app and send it to our contacts or group numbers. People trust and download the APK file received from an acquaintance’s WhatsApp number.

We also need to keep our WhatsApp account secure. For this, two step verification settings of WhatsApp account should be kept enabled. If the APK file is inadvertently installed in your phone, you should immediately turn off the internet connection of your phone. After this, reach the bank and get the bank account frozen.
