Jhalawar Chappi pipeline burst, no water supply in Jhalrapatan today

Jhalawar : Jhalawar Chhapi Project The water pipeline going from the project dam to Jhalawar burst near Wheatkhedi village on Monday morning. In such a situation, in the areas where water is supplied from the Chhapi project, there was no evening water supply on Monday. In many areas, there will be no water supply in Jhalrapatan and Jhalawar even on Tuesday morning. Water stream gushed out due to the bursting of the drinking water project line near Gehukhandi village. The stream of water was rising up to about 50 feet from the line. Water continued flowing for about one and a half hours. However, later the water supply department employees reached the spot and got the line closed. When the water flow reduced. Due to this, water supply in rural and urban areas was disrupted due to non-filling of tanks at many places.

Water was flowing so fast from the pipeline that water accumulated nearby. Former sarpanch of Wheatkhedi, Ramsingh Kirar said that due to water flowing from the pipeline, water accumulated around the school and government dispensary building. Villagers said that the alkaline soil of the village destroys the iron pipes. Due to this, there are frequent leakages in the pipe lines. Due to repair work due to breakage of Chhapi drinking water line, the drinking water supply of Jhalawar, Jhalrapatan and 236 villages will be completely disrupted on Tuesday. Whereas the water supply from Kalisindh River and Bhanvarasa Deh will remain the same.
