Jhalawar Good news for pregnant women, now delivery facility at 17 PHCs also

Jhalawar : Now pregnant women will not face any problem in rural areas of the district. No operation was taking place in 17 PHCs of the district for the last six months, but now once again by increasing adequate facilities, the facility of operation has been provided here. It is noteworthy that recently, District Collector Ajay Singh Rathod had informed about such PHC of the district where not even a single delivery was taking place for the last six years. On this, the District Collector had given instructions in the District Health Committee meeting to start delivery facilities in 17 CHCs in 20 days. On this, Chief Medical and Health Officer Dr. Sajid Khan issued notices of 17 CC to all the PHC doctors and instructed them to perform deliveries at the PHC level. Besides, the shortage of equipment and manpower at all PHCs was also addressed. Now, with delivery facilities being operational at all 17 PHCs, the cries of the newborn are resonating.

These facilities increased

On the instructions of the District Collector, facilities have been increased at the PHCs of Thanavad, Mishroli, Ravasyan, Karavan, Kundla, Mandawar, Donda, Kanwada, Sirpoi, Chachlav, Dudhalia, Kachnara, Harigarh, Gadarwada Noorji, Kadodiya, Ghatoli, Pachpahar etc. of the district. ANM has been appointed and they were also given training. Also, the equipment which was in short supply was replenished. Recently, with the appointment of 201 permanent ANMs in the district, the villagers got convenience by filling the vacant posts in many PHCs. Now 24-hour delivery facilities will be available at these institutions. After giving instructions from the District Collector, the CMHO had given notice of 17 CC to the doctors posted at all the PHCs and instructed them to start institutional delivery within 15 days. Now after six months, deliveries started happening here again.

Currently, a large number of pregnant women from all over the district come to Zanana Hospital for delivery. There are 30-35 deliveries here every day, so the load here increases a lot. But with delivery facilities now available at 17 PHCs in rural areas, the burden on Janana Hospital will be reduced.
