Jhalawar : As per the instructions of Rajasthan State Legal Services Authority Jaipur and Union Ministry of Women and Child Development, on Wednesday, Secretary District Legal Services Authority Shashi Gajrana inaugurated the Child Marriage Free India National Campaign at Government Higher Secondary School, Old Block, Jhalawar. In the program he said that continuous efforts are being made by the government and other organizations to end child marriage. This practice not only hinders the development of children but also deprives them of their rights.
Additional Superintendent of Police Chiranjilal also addressed the program and administered the oath to stop child marriage. He promised that he would take immediate action upon receiving information about suspicious cases. This is not just an oath, but a resolution to bring positive change in the society. He said that if everyone works together in this direction then this evil practice can be rooted out. Additional District Education Officer Satyendra Pal Sharma, Principal Garima, Child Welfare Committee member Purnima Sikarwar, Babli Meena, District Legal Services Authority employees Rahul Jain, Rashid Khan and Virendra Gurjar and school students and teachers etc. were present in the program.
