Jhalawar : There is a shortage of medicines in the Ayurveda hospitals of the state. In the hospitals of the district, instead of 70-80 medicines, they have to make do with 40-50 medicines. Even constipation medicine is not available in many hospitals. In such a situation, many patients are forced to take expensive medicines from outside. This is the situation of A category district hospital of Jhalawar district headquarters. There are even less medicines in the hospitals of villages and towns. This situation of medicines is going to change in the year 2025. Instead of 70-80 types of medicines given in district Ayurveda hospitals, 150 to 160 types of medicines will be available. At the same time, instead of 40 to 42 types of medicines, 80 to 85 types of medicines will be available at Ayurveda health centres.
This is the situation in the state
There are 33 district hospitals in the state, while there are 88 Ayurveda hospitals. In which 3 in Jhalawar, 4 in Bhilwara, 3 in Chittorgarh, 8 in Ajmer, 6 in Alwar, 2 in Banswara, 1 in Baran, 4 in Bharatpur, 4 in Churu, 1 in Dholpur, 2 in Dungarpur, 2 in Ganganagar, Hanumangarh. 2 in A, 5 in Jaipur, 3 in Jaipur B, 2 in Jalore, Jhunjhunu There are 2 hospitals in Uttar Pradesh, 2 in Jodhpur and 6 in Udaipur. Along with this, there are 3578 Ayurveda dispensaries in the state. There are Yoga and Naturopathy hospitals and dispensaries, Panchakarma centres, ambulatory medical units. In which those undergoing treatment will benefit when medicines arrive.
Monitoring will be done through software
In the Ayurveda department, medicines will be monitored like allopathy medicines in the new year. For this, a software is being developed by the department. In which daily medicine distribution, medicine availability and all other information will be available on one click. Presently entries are made in the register in the department.
