Jhalawar : Jaipur Vidyut Vitran Nigam will provide 100% interest and penalty waiver to all categories of disconnected electricity consumers by depositing the dues in one lump sum till December 31, 2023. To provide the benefits of the scheme, electricity bill improvement camp will be organized in the subdivision office on 27th November and 30th November.
Under the budget announcement of the state government, all categories of electricity consumers are being provided relief under the amnesty scheme for temporarily and permanently disconnected electricity connections before 31 December 2023. Before this, all categories of electricity consumers who have been temporarily or permanently disconnected on the outstanding amount are being provided 100 percent waiver of late fee and interest attached to the bill on depositing the entire principal amount in one lump sum. To avail the benefits of this scheme, consumers can submit application in the concerned AEN office.
If the consumer has any dispute related to the original bill and wants resolution, he will first have to apply to the concerned Internal Grievance Redressal Cell, IGRC Cell. The benefit of the amnesty scheme can be availed as per the decision of the concerned forum. To provide the benefits of the scheme, electricity bill improvement camp will be organized in the subdivision office on 27th November and 30th November. Corporation will get revenue
With the disposal of the cases under the scheme, the corporation will get the outstanding revenue and will also be able to reduce the electricity consumption. At the same time, electricity consumers will also be able to restart their closed connections as per the rules after getting the benefit of the scheme.
