Jhunjhunu News Desk: On Monday, CPI(M) protested at the Collectorate in Jhunjhunu Government BDK Hospital against the fake post-mortem of a young man who was alive by declaring him dead and sending him to the crematorium. Submitted a letter to the District Collector and demanded that the matter be investigated by a judicial officer. DYFI Tehsil Secretary Yogesh Kataria said that the deceased youth was brought to the hospital under suspicious circumstances. We suspect that the youth was assaulted and was admitted when he became unconscious. The operation of the institution should be investigated.
Let us tell you that the health of Rohitash (25), a mentally retarded youth living in the shelter home of Maa Seva Sansthan in Bagad, deteriorated on the afternoon of 21st November. He was admitted to the emergency ward of BDK Hospital. The doctors of the hospital had declared him dead. The body was kept in the mortuary for post-mortem. After this, the police were called, Panchnama was prepared and the body was taken to the crematorium with the help of an ambulance. Here, when Rohitash’s body was placed on the pyre, his breathing started and his body started shaking.
Seeing this, everyone present there was scared. After this, an ambulance was immediately called and Rohitash was brought to the hospital. After a few hours, the young man was referred to Jaipur in critical condition. Where he died. In this case, the District Collector took action and suspended three doctors. The youth was identified as Birbal (22), son of Mangilal Jodhpuriya, living near Jhunjhunu police line. He was mentally retarded. His father Mangilal has passed away. Mother took care. Birbal left home in January 2024. The family members had given a missing report to the police. No trace of him could be found. On September 28, Bagad police station had released him to the Demented Rehabilitation Center located in Adarsh Nagar. Since then he was living in the rehabilitation center. After the matter came to light, his brothers were identified by other relatives. During this time, the relatives of the deceased youth including Mahipal Poonia, Pankaj Gurjar, Ramchandra, Deepak, Krishna, Bilal, Vijay Yadav were present.
