Jhunjhunu : The campaign being run by the Municipal Council against temporary encroachment in Jhunjhunu city continued for the second day. The team removed temporary encroachments from many places in the city on Wednesday. The team took action to remove temporary encroachment from Pirusingh Circle, Road No. 2, JP Janu School, Road No. 1, Roadways Bus Stand and other places.

The items like cots, wooden benches, tarpaulins etc. kept at a distance from outside the shops towards the shopkeepers and vegetable vendors near the roadways bus stand were removed. A warning was given that a fine would be levied in case of repeat encroachment. Seeing the team, there was a commotion among the shopkeepers and street vendors. Many shopkeepers themselves kept the goods kept outside and kept them inside. Executive Engineer Vedpal Godara said that the action will continue. Revenue Officer Neha Chaudhary, Tax Assessor Arvind Kumar Sharma, Junior Assistant Sushil Saini, Ranjit and Ali Hasan and other employees of the Municipal Council were present.
