Jhunjhunu Nursing students took out a rally on World Diabetes Day

Jhunjhunu News Desk: On World Diabetes Day, nursing students of Government BDK Hospital, Jhunjhunu took out an awareness rally on Thursday. Along with this, a check-up camp was also organized in the hospital. The rally started from BDK Hospital and passed through various routes of the city. At the rally, students held placards with diabetes awareness messages written on them. The students raised slogans and made the general public aware. On this occasion, PMO Dr. Sandeep Prachar said that there has been a 25 percent increase in diabetic patients in BDK Hospital this year compared to last year.

The main reason for which is awareness among the general public, investigation and change in eating habits. Senior pediatrician Dr. Jitendra Bhambu said that many cases of type one diabetes are being found in children. If children have symptoms like frequent urination, frequent illness, delayed recovery, delayed wound healing after injury, then get the child examined by a pediatrician. Children with such symptoms also need examination. Complete diagnostic and treatment services are available at BDK Hospital. Physician Dr. Krishna told that room number 1 is available in the hospital. Here 15 patients are regularly examined under NCD.

8 new patients found

Physician Dr. Krishna examined old and new patients in the camp. 189 patients were examined in the diabetes screening camp. In which 8 new diabetic patients were found and 39 old patients were examined and treated. 31 patients were found suffering from both diabetes and BP.
