Jhunjhunu News Desk: After the death of a young man after being crushed by a Thar vehicle in Nayasar village of Jhunjhunu, the villagers got angry. There is a demand to give Rs 1 crore to the deceased and Rs 50 lakh to the injured. Road number one, the main road of the city, was blocked. They sat on the road and started raising slogans. After the information, SDM Havasingh, Deputy Virendra Sharma reached the spot. Tried to get the road opened after consulting the villagers. Due to road blockage, long queues of vehicles formed on both sides. Earlier, the villagers were sitting on strike outside the mortuary of BDK Hospital. When things did not work out, they took to the streets.
Former minister Rajendra Singh Gudha also reached the protest. DYFI District President Mahipal said that rental car sellers have created terror in Jhunjhunu and surrounding areas, a gang of vehicle renters is working. Vehicles are running without registration. There are no numbers on them. From number plate to chassis number is fake. Minor children are racing the vehicles. There have been issues with rental vehicles several times in the past as well. Still the police administration is silent. Efforts are being made to suppress the matter by colluding. Sarpanch Roshanlal said that he will not leave the strike when our demands are not met.

They took to the streets demanding a compensation of Rs 1 crore to the family of the deceased youth, a government job, registration of a murder case against the accused, giving Rs 50 lakh each to the families of the injured, and action against the rental operators.
