Jhunjhunu : Jhunjhunu Pollution is increasing in the district due to stubble burning in Haryana and Punjab. AQI reached 432 on Monday. Respiratory patients are facing the most problems. On this, District Collector Ramavatar Meena held a meeting of officials on Monday. Issued guidelines and asked people to drive less vehicles. In such a situation, the biggest question arises that there is so much encroachment on the city roads that one cannot ride a bicycle. At many places even walking is difficult. In such a situation, how to reach the destination without a vehicle? The common people are demanding removal of encroachment from the city without discrimination.
Depot Tiraha
There is more encroachment on the road than at the shop; the most encroachment is at the Depot Tiraha in the city. Police and administration officials come out from here throughout the day. Traffic policemen also stand by, but no one can see the encroachment of the shopkeepers. One day the Municipal Council team supplies food in the name of action, but the next day the same situation happens again. There are many shops at Depot Tiraha such that twice the amount of goods remains on the road, but due to the influence of the encroachers, they are unable to muster the courage to take any action. Many collectors and commissioners changed, but could not remove the encroachment from Depot Tiraha. .
Mandawa mode: occupying the footpath
A footpath has been made for pedestrians from Mandawa Mode to Swarna Jayanti Stadium. But even then there were temporary and permanent encroachments on Mandawa Mode. These encroachments are also not visible to the administration, police and city council. Pedestrians have to travel risky on the road.
