Jhunjhunu : The young man, who was declared dead till the post-mortem report was prepared on Thursday in Jhunjhunu’s Government Bhagwan Das Khaitan Hospital (BDK), actually died during treatment on Friday morning. A day earlier, the doctors had declared him dead. When he was cremated, he was taken to the crematorium, where he started breathing as soon as he was laid on the pyre, after which he was treated for about 15 hours. Rohitash (25), a youth living in Maa Seva Sansthan in Bagad, was brought to BDK Hospital in Jhunjhunu on Thursday afternoon when his health deteriorated. Where at 1.50 pm a doctor declared him dead. The second doctor documented his post-mortem and handed it over to the institute. When the people of the institute took him to the cremation ground, there was movement in his body and he was brought back to BDK Hospital at 6.24 pm. Where his treatment continued till 2 o’clock in the night. After this he was referred to Jaipur. He was taken to the emergency room of SMS Hospital in Jaipur, where doctors declared him brought dead.

Post mortem was completed

After the matter came into limelight late night, PMO Dr. Sandeep Pachar along with Dr. Yogesh Jakhar, who declared the youth dead and Dr. Navneet Meel, who conducted the post-mortem, were suspended. Now it is coming to light that Dr. Navneet Meel did not even do his post-mortem, he prepared the post-mortem report without dissection. Dr. Meel even wrote his opinion without post-mortem. In this, the cause of death was given as lung failure, TB, COPD and other reasons. At present it has not been revealed why Dr. Miele did this. The team formed in the matter is investigating it. Prima facie it has been considered to be gross negligence on the part of the doctors.
