The corporation purchased lime and indigo worth Rs 7 lakh six months ago for this work, but due to not being used, the indigo expired. Due to this, the work of painting the houses in the city blue was stuck. Now the work has been started again after the contractor supplied the goods back.

After that, the corporation has started the work of painting the houses in the inner areas of the city blue under the Indira Gandhi Employment Guarantee Scheme.
