Humorous poets like Ahsan Qureshi, Ram Akela, Dinesh Bawri, Rohit enthralled the club members and guests. In the Virat Hasya Kavi Sammelan organized at Umaid Club on Thursday evening, messages of women empowerment, patriotism and saving values in the changing era were also given. Ehsaas Qureshi and Zeenat, a couple from Madhya Pradesh and a couple living in Mumbai, expressed the atmosphere of the country through their poetic works. Ehsaan Qureshi gave the message of patriotism by reciting the poem We have knowledge of good and bad, We take care of our guests. Humorist poet Dinesh Bawra from Mumbai praised today’s high-tech era and read poetry describing the danger of mobile phones in the hands of children. Poets presented a collection of their best poems and sometimes also presented poetry on the request of the audience. Poet Dr. Ram Akela, who was conducting the ceremony, presented poems on youth as well as on recent issues. In the beginning, club president Hansraj Baheti and honorary secretary Kapil Gupta performed the welcome ceremony.
