Jodhpur: Furniture traders from Dubai looked excited by the government’s promises.

Jodhpur : Jodhpur On the second day of the Rising Rajasthan Summit, 60 delegates from Dubai also participated in it. These included furniture businessmen Amraram Jangid and Lalaram Suthar. Jangid, who hails from Jodhpur, has been running an industry named Rajasthan Furniture Industry there for 38 years. Lalaram, originally from Jaisalmer, is the operator of Knoff Furniture Industry in Dubai.

These businessmen desirous of investing in Rajasthan told that during the visit of Industry Minister Rajvardhan Singh Rathore to Dubai, they had demanded him to provide land for setting up industries in Jaipur or Jodhpur. It was said that the land should be given at reserve rate or on lease, so that it is available at minimum amount and it becomes easier to set up the industry. They believe that in allotting land through auction, the price increases significantly. Amra Ram says that earlier he had to worry for five years for the conversion of land for the construction of a hotel in Osian. The government should simplify the procedures in the interest of investors and industries. He talked about having a single window system and strictly implementing it. However, after participating in this summit, he appreciated the new efforts of the government and expressed hope that these promises of the government will come to fruition and industries and the state will benefit.
