A big MoU worth Rs 50 crore was signed in Jodhpur. Some new investments are also going to come in this sector. This will solve the land problem for industries. At present the biggest problem with new investment MoUs is land. If the government approves private industrial park, it will be a big game changer. This concept is already running in the states where industrial growth is good. It has not been so successful in Jodhpur yet, but now it is being implemented on the ground.
Relaxation in provision: Many entrepreneurs are also proposing their land to develop industries along the highway. If the government relaxes the conversion and provisions regarding this, industries can develop with connectivity. RIICO and JDA have limited land and 90 percent of the 300 new industries have demanded land. We ourselves have signed an MoU for the industrial park. The government is expected to do further land conversion and other processes soon. So that we can get investment on time. Electricity and water connections should also be available on time.
