Jodhpur : Due to the redevelopment work in progress at Jodhpur Railway Station, Jodhpur-Delhi-Jodhpur Mandore Superfast Express train will be operated on a changed route from Friday for one and a half months. Meanwhile, giving great relief to its passengers, the Railways has decided to run the Jaisalmer-Kathgodam Ranikhet Express only on the scheduled route. Giving this information, Jodhpur DRM Pankaj Kumar Singh of North Western Railway said that due to the redevelopment work at Jaipur Railway Station. Due to the construction of air concourse on moving platforms two and three, the operation of some trains will be affected. He said that due to the above work, trains 22996/22995, Jodhpur-Delhi-Jodhpur Mandore Superfast Express will be operated from 29 November to 13 January 2025 (total 46 trips) via the changed route Phulera-Ringas-Rewari. Due to which Mandore Superfast will not pass through Jaipur, Dausa, Bandikui and Alwar stations during this period. The train will go to Delhi via the diverted route Phulera-Ringas-Rewari and will stop at Ringas, Shrimadhopur, Neemkathana and Narnaul railway stations on the route.
He said that earlier for this purpose a notification was issued to change the route of Train 15013/15014, Jaisalmer-Kathgodam-Jaisalmer Ranikhet Express, but keeping in mind the passenger convenience, the Railways has decided to operate it only on the prescribed route during the above period. It has been decided *Malani Express will also operate with changed route for 12 trips *Train 20487, Barmer-Delhi superfast due to construction of air concourse Bi-weekly from 2 December to 9 January 2025 (12 trips) which will depart from Barmer, the changed route will operate via Phulera-Ringas-Rewari and on the changed route it will stop at Ringas, Shrimadhopur, Neemkathana and Narnaul stations.
Similarly, train 20488, Delhi-Barmer Superfast, which will depart from Delhi from 29 November to 10 January 2025 (13 trips), will operate via the changed route Ringas-Phulera and on the changed route, it will stop at Narnaul, Neemkathana, Shrimadhopur, Ringas stations. Regulated train services (from originating station) due to redevelopment work 20846, Bikaner-Bilaspur Superfast Express, which will depart from Bikaner from 1 to 12 January 2025 (13 trips), will be regulated for 30 minutes at Kanakpura railway station.
*Temporary extension of Jaipur Intercity up to Khatipura*Due to redevelopment work being done at Jaipur Railway Station, train 22977/22978 Jaipur-Jodhpur-Jaipur Intercity Superfast is being temporarily extended up to Khatipura Railway Station for 32 trips.Sr. DCM Vikas Kheda informed that due to the above work Train 22977, Jaipur-Jodhpur Intercity Superfast The express will operate from Khatipura to Jodhpur instead of Jaipur railway station from 1 December to 13 January 2025 (32 trips). Similarly, Train 22978, Jodhpur-Jaipur Intercity Superfast Express will operate from Jodhpur to Khatipura Railway Station instead of Jaipur from 30 November to 12 January 2025 (32 trips).
