Jodhpur : Police of West District of Jodhpur Police Commissionerate has formed different teams today and is conducting a search operation in Chaupasni area from suspicious places to drug smuggling activities. Let us tell you that the police were continuously receiving complaints regarding smuggling of illegal drugs in these areas. On this, teams from different police stations have reached Chaupasni area today under the leadership of DCP Raj Rishi Raj Verma. Here, search operations are being conducted from suspicious camps to flats and possible locations of drug smuggling.
The police team is present here since early morning. In this, different teams of Chaupasni Housing Board police station, Devnagar, Rajiv Gandhi Nagar police station area are included. This team is also searching suspicious flats and slums. Let us tell you that at these places, complaints were continuously being received regarding illegal drug trade in the city. In such a situation, today a campaign is being carried out by forming joint police teams. These days, drugs are being sold openly at many places in the city, from Saras booths to tea stalls. Due to lack of effective monitoring, intoxicating products are being sold near many educational institutions. Due to this, the young generation is getting trapped in the quagmire of drugs.
