Jodhpur : Jodhpur: Employees will be hired on contract in the roadways fleet which has been suffering from shortage of employees for a long time. Roadways Jodhpur depot management has made preparations for this. Bus charioteers will be taken on contract as conductors in Jodhpur depot. Booking agents will also be hired for booking at various places. Bus Sarathi will be taken on contract terms under Bus Sarathi Scheme-2023. 55 Bus Sarathi are required in Jodhpur depot. But at present only 30 bus charioteers are employed. In such a situation, the depot management needs 25 more bus drivers for the uninterrupted operation of the buses. After the recruitment of new bus charioteers, they will be sent on the route. For this, bus charioteers will be given ETIM machines and taught to operate them. Also, 8 booking agents at various places under Jodhpur Agar will be hired on the basis of monthly ticket sales commission.
The new experiment also did not work
Drivers, conductors and other categories of employees have not been recruited in roadways for a long time. Due to lack of new recruitment and retirement of employees, there is a shortage of employees in roadways. In view of the shortage of drivers and operators, the roadways management had closed all the booking windows a few days ago and deployed these employees on the routes. But when the booking system deteriorated, the employees were sent back to booking.
