We all have to work together to make the country a world leader. Governor Haribhau Bagde said this while addressing the students at the inauguration program of the 16th Nature International Documentary Film Festival in Jodhpur on Wednesday. He said that special attention has been paid to digitization of education. Describing documentaries as an effective medium of education, he called for effective dissemination of education through audio-visual medium. The Governor said that it is important for students to communicate with each other. There will be exchange of knowledge and ideas acquired through this. New avenues for digitization of education have opened up through CEC. With this, India will be able to progress more rapidly in the field of education in the coming times. Describing documentaries as an important medium of education, he emphasized on its effective use in higher education. In the programme, the Governor appealed not to disrespect the food and not to leave it behind.
A 5-minute short film based on the 16th Nature International Documentary Film Festival was shown in the programme. 13 documentary films will be screened under the three-day 16th Nature International Documentary Film Festival. Speaking at the event, CEC Director Professor JB Nadda said that the Nature Film Festival brings forth new ideas to connect with curiosity and creative minds. Vice Chancellor of Jayanarayan Vyas University, Prof. KL Srivastava said that there is environment, development, human rights and clean India. This is not just a theme but a reference to the nature of human society throughout the world. Professor BR Gadi, Director, Prakriti International Documentary Film Festival, Jodhpur, EMMRC, gave the welcome address. Dr. Sunil Mehru, Joint Director of CEC, gave information about the achievements of CEC and the film festival.
