Jodhpur News Desk: A girl accused who was absconding for 3 years in the REET paper leak case has been arrested. She was hiding in a room behind her father’s dhaba. When the police came to know about this, a plan was made to catch him. Policemen in plain clothes went to the dhaba posing as customers, laid siege and raided and arrested him. Special cyclone team of Jodhpur range caught him on Sunday evening from Bambor of Balotra police station area. Range IG Vikas Kumar said- A reward of Rs 25 thousand was declared on Imarti (30), wife of Ramesh Bishnoi, resident of Umralai. A case was registered against him in Balotra police station in the REET exam scam of the year 2021. Since then she was absconding.

Range IG Vikas Kumar told – During the REET exam of the year 2021, Imarti had made Chhami Bishnoi sit in the exam in her place. The Emirati papers and examination admit cards of the action were recovered. The photo in the exam admit card was tampered with the computer. After this, the police team was busy to arrest Imarti. Managed to dodge the police thrice. He was caught for the fourth time.

During her absconding, Imarti was staying at her relatives’ places in Kalyanpur, Jodhpur and Bambor. She was living in a room behind her father’s hotel in Bambore. After finding out this, the team made a plan to catch him on Sunday evening. Imarti chose Bambor of Balesar police station area because after seeing the police team from here, he used to manage to escape through the fields through the back road, but this time the police dodged him. The group reached the hotel one by one posing as customers and the driver cordoned off the outside and caught him. Head constable Mahipal Singh, constable Gopal Jani and the entire team were involved in the action.
Four women have already been caught
The main accused in the case, Chhami Bishnoi, was caught from Vrindavan 3 months ago. After interrogating him, Bhanwari’s wife Hemaram was caught from Pune (Maharashtra) and Sangeeta’s daughter Sukhram was caught from Gudhamalani. Both of them had come as dummy candidates to take the exam in place of some other candidate, but due to fear of being caught, they ran away without giving the exam. Another woman Kiran has also been caught. Within 8 months of formation of Cycloner Cell, 56 criminals have been arrested so far.
