Jodhpur’s fierce SDM Priyanka Bishnoi died during treatment, CM expressed condolences

Jodhpur : Rajasthan’s famous RAS officer SDM Priyanka Vishnoi breathed her last on Wednesday. Priyanka Vishnoi was the RAS topper in 2016. Jodhpur’s Assistant Collector Priyanka Vishnoi lost the battle of life on Wednesday during treatment at a hospital in Ahmedabad. Let us tell you that Priyanka Vishnoi was operated on September 6 in Jodhpur. The next day her health deteriorated during treatment. Vishnoi was then referred to a private hospital in Ahmedabad. About 10 days later, she breathed her last on Wednesday night.

CM Bhajanlal expressed grief

ADM II Omprakash Vishnoi said that his funeral will take place on Thursday in Surpura village near Phalodi. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma has also expressed grief over his death.

Who was Priyanka Bishnoi?

Priyanka Vishnoi, a resident of a small village in Bikaner district of Rajasthan, cleared the RAS exam in 2016. Sharing her RAS journey in an interview, Priyanka said that ‘during a competition in the 8th class, she was awarded the Sub-Divisional Officer and since then, seeing her status and the red light car, she had a dream of joining the civil service. For which her father also motivated her a lot. However, after graduation, Priyanka also tried her hand in the banking sector and was selected but could not proceed further in document verification. After this, she started preparing for RAS and got success in 2016. After which she took charge as Assistant Collector (SDM) in Jodhpur, and was recognized for her hard work, honesty and strong status. Vishnoi’s husband Vikram Vishnoi is working as an Excise Inspector in Phalodi.

high level investigation of treatment

Collector Gaurav Agarwal had given instructions to form a high-level committee to investigate the complaint of negligence in the treatment of RAS Priyanka Vishnoi. To investigate the treatment given at Vasundhara Hospital, the Principal of Dr. SN Medical College has included Dr. Ranjana Desai, Dr. Indu Thanvi, Dr. Vijay Sharma, Dr. Shubkaran Khinchhad and Dr. Naveen Paliwal in the committee.

Security beefed up at hospital and doctor’s residence

As a precautionary measure, security of Vasundhara Hospital and the director’s residence in Chaupasni Housing Board was increased late at night. Police and RAC have been deployed. Police officer Nitin Dave said that police patrolling has been increased as a precautionary measure. Chetak has been asked to make frequent rounds of the hospital.
