Jaipur : The written complaint of the Chief Justice of Rajasthan High Court has reached the President, Prime Minister, Chief Justice of India and the Union Law Minister. Jaipur Bar Association has written in this complaint that the justices have lost control and the behavior of the staff is very bad. This staff misguides everyone and lists the cases wrongly. This troubles not only the lawyers but also many judges. For this reason the situation here is serious and it needs your immediate attention.
Boycott of Diwali affection meeting program
The Bar Association is angry over the non-meeting of the Grievance Redressal Committee and the problems being faced by the VC. It is mentioned in the letter that even after the memorandum on the complaints, there was no hearing. Perhaps that is why the Bar Association has also boycotted the Diwali Sneh Milan program being organized through the Chief Justice. Association President Pramod Sharma said, ‘Three thousand bail applications are pending. We had demanded setting up of a special bench. Still the bench was not formed. Therefore, it is not appropriate to participate in affectionate get-togethers. We will organize a separate affection meeting program.
‘Chief Justice did not take cognizance of the strike’
It is further written in the complaint letter that, ‘The lawyers of Rajasthan High Court Association, Jodhpur have been opposing the formation of a bench of Rajasthan High Court in Jaipur since the beginning. Due to this, the last day of every month is celebrated as strike day, in which the Chief Justice also cooperates. This is because the Chief Justice has never taken cognizance of this strike since his joining in 2021 till date. This shows that Chief Justice M.M. Srivastava has deliberately ignored the orders of the Supreme Court.
Demand to take action as soon as possible
Prahlad Sharma wrote at the end of the letter, ‘Keeping in mind the facts and circumstances mentioned above, we request you, Your Excellency. Please take effective action in the matter as soon as possible. We are confident that whatever decision you take will be right. Please consider this matter and take immediate action for solution. Many lawyers have also signed their letters on this letter paid.
