New Delhi, December 1 (IANS). In view of the Delhi Assembly elections, BJP has stepped up its election preparations. Regarding this, BJP MP Kamaljit Sehrawat reacted to the Election Management Committee meeting on Sunday.
BJP MP Kamaljit Sehrawat, while talking exclusively to IANS, said that the party has intensified its preparations. He said that the party workers have been continuously working among the public from the booth level to the state leadership, but at the time of elections all these efforts are specially organized so that the party can directly contact the public. He said that the bugle for Delhi Assembly elections can sound any time. In view of this, on Sunday BJP started its election strategy in the form of Parivartan Yatra. This is a natural process for any election. The role of party organization workers is important in elections and we are continuously working among the public.
He said that during this campaign, the party will bring before the people of Delhi the problems with which the Aam Aadmi Party government has forced Delhi to grapple. In the coming time, party leaders will meet the public from booth level to state level and answer their questions. Kamaljit Sehrawat strongly criticized the present Aam Aadmi Party government of Delhi and said that in ten years the Aam Aadmi Party government has not provided even basic facilities to the people.
He said that Arvind Kejriwal had claimed that he would make Delhi clean and beautiful. But, today the condition of roads in Delhi has become worse. The level of pollution has increased, filth is spread in the streets and people are not even getting clean drinking water. The condition of Delhi Jal Board is so bad that dirty water is coming. Making a verbal attack on Kejriwal, he said that the Chief Minister who had earlier claimed that giving jobs was not a big deal for him, is now not able to provide even basic facilities to the people. The same people who are struggling with sewer water and broken roads today are now raising questions against Kejriwal.”
Kamaljit Sehrawat also accused Aam Aadmi Party of corruption. He said that Arvind Kejriwal has always spoken about corruption, but now his own people have been found involved in crime. It’s a big silence. If you don’t work, the public will ask you questions. Kejriwal government should realize its mistakes and introspect.
