Jodhpur : Rajasthan’s Jodhpur Range Police has arrested Kamlesh Prajapati, who has been absconding for three years in the encounter case. The accused was arrested on Thursday. He was included in the top ten wanted. Along with this, the accused was summoned by the CBI, but he was absconding since the incident. After this he has been found and arrested. Meanwhile, Inspector General of Police Vikas Kumar said that Hadmat Saran, son of Durgaram Jat, a criminal included in the list of top-10 rewarded criminals of Pali district, has been arrested by the Cycloner Cell of Barmer district. This accused was absconding for three years.
CBI had summoned Kamlesh Prajapati in the encounter.
According to IG Vikas Kumar, accused Hadmat Saran was also summoned by CBI during the investigation of Kamlesh Prajapati encounter. In the year 2021, during the action being taken by Sanderao Police to arrest the wanted criminal Kamlesh Prajapati, the accused Kamlesh committed a fatal attack by hitting the police station officer’s car. Then the police station officer was badly injured during the attack, the car of accused Kamlesh was also completely broken and this criminal was the main mastermind of this case who saved him safely.
Kamlesh killed in police encounter
IG Vikas Kumar told that the accused Kamlesh was killed in an encounter during the raid by the police in Barmer to get the certificate of accused Kamlesh. Which was investigated by CBI. Accused Hadmat was also summoned by the CBI during the investigation into the encounter death of Kamlesh Prajapati. But CBI did not go for investigation because the accused Hadmat was absconding.
Reward of Rs 25 thousand was announced
A reward of Rs 25 thousand was announced on the arrest of criminal Hadmat. According to the information received by Cycloner Cell, two big rewarded criminals of Range Jodhpur District Barmer area are involved in drug smuggling from Madhya Pradesh. After analyzing the information the team left for Madhya Pradesh. The Cycloner team was sitting and waiting for the last three days and the team was sitting at a tea shop.
Then the criminal came to the tea shop and asked the shop owner about the team sitting there, when he did not give any answer, the criminal ran away from there. The accused kept hiding by changing vehicles while running away from there. Finally, concrete information was received that he was sitting in the bus.
When the bus reached Udaipur, it was surrounded and caught.
Inspector General of Police Vikas Kumar told that after receiving the information about boarding the bus, the Cycloner team sent the criminal to the next town and how many associates were with him. To get this verified, a member of the team was made to sit in the bus and the team kept taking information about him and the incidents happening there. Later when the bus was reaching its destination Udaipur. So the team cordoned off the bus and allowed the criminal to escape from the crowded bus stop and was caught at a safe place.
