Ajmer : Riyaz Attari, an accused in Udaipur’s famous tailor Kanhaiya Lal murder case, suddenly fell ill on Friday morning. After this, he was taken out of the state’s most secure jail under tight police security and brought to Ajmer’s JLN Hospital.
Complaints of stomach and eye problems
ASI Maniram of Sadar Kotwali police station said that accused Riyaz had stomach and eye problems, that is why his sonography was done in the hospital. After that his eyes were examined in the ophthalmology department. When the doctor saw both the test reports, no symptoms of illness were seen in Riyaz Attari. Police had also brought another hardcore criminal along with Riyaz. In such a situation, Jawaharlal Nehru Hospital was transformed into a cantonment till the police team left.
All 8 accused are lodged in Amjer jail
Let us tell you that on 28 June 2022, Riyaz Khan along with his partner Gos Mohammad murdered Kanhaiyalal Tailor in broad daylight in a Talibani manner. He also made a live video of the entire incident, which was posted on social media. After carrying out this murder, the accused fled towards Rajsamand, which was caught by the police. This case was later handed over to the NIA, which also had links with Pakistan. So far 9 accused have been arrested in this case, out of which only one has got bail. All the rest are lodged in the high security jail of Ajmer.
The hearing of the case is still going on in the court
It has been almost 2 years since he was in jail, and now he is waiting for the final decision of the court on this case. It is said that earlier all the accused were scared and kept asking the policemen about their hanging. But with the passage of time, they understood that they will be given the final punishment only after the hearing is completed in the court. That is why they have now stopped asking questions.
