In fact, taking steps towards smart policing, Kannauj Police will implement e-office system in all the police offices including all the police stations, CO office and Additional Office. Preparation and training for this is almost complete. Besides, equipment related to e-office system has been made available to all police stations and offices.

Kannauj SP Amit Kumar Anand said that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is continuously working towards promoting the Digital India Mission. Under this, big steps are being taken towards technical improvement and modernization in Uttar Pradesh Police. Taking initiative in this direction, Kannauj Police has set the target of making all the police stations completely digital by December 2024. Under this, the era of voluminous files in police stations will end and administrative work will be conducted smoothly on the digital platform through the e-office system. Under this, Kannauj will become the first district of Uttar Pradesh, where 100 percent e-office system will be implemented in all police stations and offices. Superintendent of Police Kannauj recently launched digital transformation in a function organized at the police office. During this, laptops were distributed to all the police station in-charges, jurisdictional officers and gazetted officers.

Superintendent of Police Kannauj Amit Kumar Anand said that policemen are being trained to implement the e-office system effectively. This training was organized at the District Training Centre, in which technical information about e-office is being given to the policemen. This system has been designed by NIC (National Informatics Centre) and is based on Central Secretariat manual. He informed that digital infrastructure has been strengthened in the district to successfully implement the e-office system. Necessary technical equipment is being provided to all police stations and offices.

There will be more speed in the disposal of pending complaints, quick justice will be provided: The main objective of the e-office system is to bring transparency and efficiency in administrative work through digital management of files and data. This system will speed up the process of complaints and reporting, thereby providing quick justice to the public. Also, monitoring through digital files will greatly help the officers in keeping an eye on the works and facilitating the decision making process. At the same time, the public will also get many benefits from the implementation of e-office system. This will not delay the disposal of pending complaints in police stations and the reporting process will be transparent and time bound. Apart from this, the possibility of corruption in police stations and district offices will also reduce. The initiative of Kannauj Police has brought a new ray of hope for the public. This will not only reduce the workload of the police personnel, but the general public will also get the benefit of the services related to the police department in a fast and transparent manner. This initiative of Kannauj Police is an inspiration for other districts of the state.
