Bengaluru, November 21 (IANS). Bharatiya Janata Party MLA and former state general secretary N. Ravi Kumar had a special conversation with IANS on Thursday. He reacted to exit poll projections after voting in poll-bound states Maharashtra and Jharkhand and fee hike in government hospitals in Karnataka.
Regarding exit poll trends, BJP leader N. Ravi Kumar said that ‘National Democratic Alliance’ is leading in Jharkhand and ‘Mahayuti’ in Maharashtra. After the Haryana elections, Congress was thinking that it would get majority. But when the results came, everyone accepted that the NDA government is performing well in the country, for which Haryana has shown a good direction.
He further said that many surveys like Matrice, People’s Survey and Chanakya have shown that we will come to power. He further said that only two days are left for the results to come. I think NDA will get absolute majority in both the states.
Regarding the increase in fees by government hospitals under the Karnataka government, the BJP MLA said that the state government is increasing it in every department after implementing the guarantee. Be it tax on diesel-petrol, registration fees or revenue department fees. Fees and taxes are increasing in all departments. BJP is against this. The session of the Karnataka Legislature will begin on December 9. BJP will oppose this.
Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s son Yatindra Siddaramaiah has raised questions on Hindutva. Regarding this, the BJP MLA said that he has very little experience in politics. Those who have experience should not speak like this. They do not know about Hindutva. He further said what is happening in Bangladesh and Pakistan. India is a secular country and all the countries of the world trust us. They will have to study further to know Hindutva.
