Karauli : 330 private schools of the district have not yet deposited the examination fee for Primary Education Learning Level Assessment (Class-5) in the DIET office. According to sources, there are 330 private schools in the district whose operators have not deposited all the Students have not deposited the examination fee amount of about Rs 3.5 lakh for the session 2023-24 in the District Education and Training Institute (DIET). In such a situation, many candidates are waiting for the certificate cum grade table. And their parents are forced to make rounds of schools. Out of 105 private schools in Todabhim block, only 1 private school deposited the fee amount. Examination fees of many students for session 2022 are still outstanding on many school operators. It is worth noting that for the smooth conduct of the examination, the Director of Primary Education Department has decided to take an amount of Rs 50 per candidate from non-government schools in respect of application and examination arrangement fee.
This amount will not be taken from the candidate. For application and examination arrangement fees, private school operators send bank drafts to PEEO according to the number of candidates, from where it reaches the Block Chief Education Officer office. Once received from here in the DIET office, the certificate cum grade sheet is distributed to the respective schools through the same process.
Many parents told that the school administrators were trying to stop them for a long time by saying that the certificate had not come from the DIET office. According to sources, Class 5 certificates cum grade tables for session 2023-24 have been distributed in the district through Chief Block Education Officers. Many private school operators have not yet deposited the bank draft regarding the application and examination fees of all the students. According to sources, school administrators keep discouraging some parents by saying that the school has not received the certificate. After several trials, the certificate is provided by the school administrators. In such a situation, students have to face unnecessary trouble in order to save some money from the private school operators.
