Karauli News Desk: The traffic park gift given by the state government to Karauli four years ago is still not materializing. In fact, selection of land for the construction of a traffic park has become difficult. The Administration and Transport Department have searched for land for the park several times at different places, but till now the land has not been selected. In such a situation, this gift of the government is crawling in the files only. It is noteworthy that in the Chief Minister’s budget announcement 2020-21, while announcing the traffic park in Karauli, a budget of Rs 50 lakh was approved, but in the initial phase after the announcement, the Transport Department The officials did not show any seriousness regarding the land. Later there was a rush to search for land at the district headquarters.
Under the direction of administrative officials, land was seen at various places at the district headquarters, but land could not be selected at any place. Ultimately, the department decided to establish the park in Hindaun City, but the proposal of Hindaun was also rejected, after which the department developed the Panchayat Samiti’s Nehru Garden as a traffic park about two years ago at the district headquarters itself. After preparing a plan, the proposal was sent to the higher officials, from where after getting the green signal, a tender was made for the construction of the park and after the work order was issued, the executive agency RSRDC also started the work. The Transport Department also took the consent letter for the construction of the park from the Panchayat Samiti Administration, but seeing the change in the original form of Nehru Garden, the work was stopped by the Panchayat Samiti Administration. In such a situation the work of the park got stuck.
