Karoli dialysis machines installed, now waiting for technicians and reagents

Karauli News Desk: Hemo dialysis machines sent by the state government to the district hospital were installed in the OPD classroom last day after 9 months. The dialyzer specialist who came from Jaipur installed two machines and demonstrated their operation to the doctor in charge. However, due to lack of reagents and technicians, kidney patients will have to wait for the dialysis facility to start in the hospital. On November 19, a news was published with the headline that the hemodialysis machines, which came to the hospital in the month of February and which came out of the store room in seven months, are now closed in the OPD room, were not started. In which the problems faced by kidney patients due to non-starting of dialysis facility and the indifference of the medical department officials were highlighted.

After the news was published, the PMO of the hospital spoke to the District Coordinator of the company authorized by the Medical and Health Department to conduct dialysis on PPD mode. On this, last day, Dialyzer Specialist Ritesh Jain of Nipro Medical Company of Jaipur installed both the dialysis machines in the designated room near the entrance of OPD. Also, the operation was demonstrated to the doctor in charge, Ankush Aggarwal. Complete demonstration could not be done due to non-availability of distilled water, reagents and other necessary consumable items on the spot. Dr. Ankush Aggarwal said that the dialysis facility will be started after the arrival of the technician from the PPP mode service provider company.
