Karoli: Flowers bloomed in mustard crop in Hindaun, faces of farmers blossomed.

Karauli : Karauli A new crop of mustard is visible in the fields after the delayed sowing of Rabi crops in the month of October due to heavy rains in Hindaun City area. Yellow mustard flowers are seen beautifully in some villages of Shri Mahavirji area. At the same time, crops are still standing in many areas of Hindaun. According to Joint Director Agriculture Office, Karauli, as per the target of 65 thousand hectares given for mustard in Rabi crop this year, mustard was sown on 64 thousand 340 hectares in the district. The target for wheat sowing remained very low. In which the target was to sow on 55 thousand hectares of land. Whereas wheat could be sown on 38320 hectares of land.

Beedi Sharma, Joint Director of the Agriculture Department, said that due to excessive rain in this monsoon season, Rabi crops could not be sown on time in the submerged fields. Due to which less sowing was possible in the month of September. Occurred in October in most areas. Farmers are waiting for moisture in the ground to sow wheat. Wheat sowing will increase with severe winter. Due to rain, the yield of millet in Kharif crops was very low. This is the reason why the arrival of millet in the agricultural produce market is also decreasing. These days the phase of irrigation and weeding is going on.
