Despite extending the date several times for getting the annual verification done in Karauli : Palanhar and Social Security Scheme in the district, many people have not got the verification done. The situation is that while renewal of 2286 children is pending in the Palanhar Scheme, social security pension verification has reduced from 93.49 percent to just 55.01 percent in the year 2024. Due to the decreasing number of beneficiaries getting verified in the scheme and much less than the state level average, now as per the instructions of Collector Neelabh Saxena, camps will be organized on mission mode across the district under the Mission Palanhar Mitra Abhiyan. Bablu Sharma, Assistant Director of Social Justice and Empowerment Department, said that under Palanhar Scheme, it is mandatory to conduct 100% annual renewal (verification) of the children and social security pensioners who are left due for annual renewal in the district for the session 2024-25.
In such a situation, to conduct 100% annual verification of all the caregivers and social security pensioners, a one-day camp will be organized at the block level from 10th to 13th December from 10 am to 5 pm in the concerned Panchayat Samiti premises. The CEO was made the District Nodal Officer, Assigned responsibility: For the Mission Palanhar Mitra campaign, the Collector appointed District Council CEO Shivcharan Meena as District Nodal Officer, CDEO, District Probation and Social Welfare Officer, Women and Child Development Department, Information and Different responsibilities have been assigned to district and block level officers like Technology, CBEO, CDPO etc.
