Karauli : Many religious events took place throughout the day at Jagdish Dham near Karauli on Friday. Devotees Jatansingh Medhekapura, Ramswaroop Patel Mahtekapura, Dhirsingh Patwari Khedli and Dinesh Singh Medhekapura offered the flag to God. Clothes, dry fruits, sweets, panchmeva, worship materials etc. were offered to the Lord. During this time the atmosphere became religious due to the chants of Lord Jagdish.
Devotees reached Jagdish Dham in the form of a religious procession singing and dancing to the band. In which many women including Panch Patel, head of twelve villages of Kaimri area were also involved. When the religious procession reached Jagdish Chowk, Mahant of the temple Pt. Manoj Shastri, Pt. Harimohan Shastri, President of the Temple Trust Ghanshyam Khatana, Vice President Captain Rajaram Khatana, Treasurer Captain Shishram Khatana, former Sarpanch of the Trust Hansraj Gurjar, Sarpanch representative Captain Singh Khatana. Panch Patels of twelve villages including Secretary Ram Vilas Gurjar welcomed him by applying Abir Gulal. On this occasion, Mahant Manoj Shastri and Pandit Hari Mohan Shastri performed the puja in the temple premises. In which Bhagwan Singh, Dhan Singh, Captain Narpat Singh, Ratiram Khedli, Nayansukh Khatana, Sarpanch Mithlesh Devi, Uday Singh Gurjar, Kaptan Singh, Sher Singh, Lajjaram Gurjar, Roop Singh, Bharat Singh etc. were included. Ataka Mahaprasad will be offered to the Lord on Amavasya on Saturday. Thousands of people will receive Prasad at Jagdish Chowk. For which the devotees handed over the material to the Temple Trust Management Committee.
