Jaipur : Rajasthan Police’s Special Operation Group (SOG) interrogated former member of Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) Ramuram Raika and suspended member Babulal Katara for several hours till Wednesday night in the sub-inspector recruitment exam paper leak case. Who gave the sub-inspector recruitment exam paper to accused Katara and to which other members apart from accused Raika, that paper was delivered, is also being questioned.
SOG asked for many documents from RPSC
It is being told that SOG has asked for many documents from RPSC, out of which some documents have been provided by RPSC. The court has handed over the accused Katara to SOG remand till 10th September. While Raika, who was arrested before Katara, is on remand till 7th September. CDR of the mobile numbers of the accused is being obtained.
At the same time, information is also being gathered about which gangs Katara had contact with that leaked the paper. The accused are not cooperating with the SOG team during interrogation. SOG is investigating whether Babulal Katara had prepared the paper for the sub-inspector recruitment exam at his own home.
After the arrest, questions were raised on many examinations
According to sources, Katara had not only provided the sub inspector recruitment exam paper to Raika’s son and daughter but also helped them in the interview. After Katara’s arrest on the charge of leaking the teacher recruitment exam and sub inspector recruitment exam papers, now questions are being raised on the fairness of other competitive exams including school lecturer, medical education, recruitment in Sanskrit education, assistant professor in college education, agriculture officer. Information is being gathered about which exams Katara was a member of RPSC during.
