‘Kavach 4.0’ will prevent rail accidents, will start first from Rajasthan

Sawai Madhopur : To make rail travel safe, Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav took a successful trial of Kavach 4.0 from Sawai Madhopur on Tuesday. During this, he traveled from Sawai Madhopur railway station to Indergarh Sumerganj Mandi station in a train equipped with Kavach system. Earlier, the Railway Minister reached the local railway station on Tuesday at around 5:30 pm in a special saloon from Jaipur. Here he observed the Kavach system and understood its functioning.

Union Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said that for the first time in the country, the installation of Kavach 4.0 has been completed from the city of Trinetra Ganesh. This will make rail travel safe and reduce accidents. He said that in the coming years, the work of installing Kavach on about ten thousand locos will be completed. At present, three thousand kilometers of track is being equipped with Kavach. Soon, work of additional Kavach will be done on nine thousand kilometers of track.

This will be the benefit of Kavach 4.0

Giving information about Kavach 4.0, the Union Railway Minister said that with this system of Indian Railways, the train driver will be able to see the signal even at a distance of 10 to 15 km in the cabin even at night. Under this system, emergency brakes will be applied before reaching the red light. If there is a gate somewhere, the whistle that the driver has to give there will be given automatically through Kavach. The security of the train will increase a lot with Kavach. He said that whether it is a hilly area or a desert or a beach, the development of Kavach has been done according to all these. In the coming time, the work of Delhi-Mumbai, Delhi to Howrah, Delhi to Chennai, Howrah to Mumbai will also be completed with Kavach. During this, the GM of Jabalpur Zone, DRM of Kota Division, Senior DCM and other officials were present with him.

Chauthkabarwada will be developed with 25 crores

Four big works worth 25 crores will be done in Chauthkabarwada. In these, all the platforms will be made full length. A 12 meter foot over bridge will be built. Along with this, passenger facilities will be increased. On the other hand, DPR of the railway line between Sheopur and Sawaimadhopur has been prepared. Work from Madhya Pradesh to Kailaras has been completed and further work is going on at a fast pace. The doubling of the Jaipur-Sawaimadhopur railway line has started. Passenger trains will be increased here in the coming days.
